hear you there, still a dandy!! Water temp in my stretch of Columbia River was bath tub like this fall, I didn’t have the same success salmon fishing this year as I did last year.. hopefully will get some more lingcod trips in before it closes in October

Picked up a few more yesterday evening

Size of the trolling rods are still a bit too much for the boy to handle himself, but did some awesome work on the reel to help land this one last night!! (Fall Chinook)

 

This was a little while back, but I took my son out for some local inshore fishing while we waited for my niece and nephew to finish a nap. We only took light tackle since we figured we would catch a few bass and barracuda.
Well, bluefin tuna decided to pop up about a mile from shore. Threw the heaviest rig I had, 20lb spinner with a mega bait. Luckily I taught my son early how to drive a boat because he chased the fish down for me multiple times.
