    I am not that far from there, I will be going to Bethel for a show with my kids in September. I want to fish the bashakill some time this summer too. A friend of mine lives within 5 minutes of a good spot on the river.

    Fished a small stream today. Caught a few small ones, one about 15", and lost a monster. It's been a long time since I've had a fish break me off...but had one do just that today. First fish I hung today, too. Oh well. My buddy caught a nice 19" brown. Had another buddy send me a picture of what he says is a 25" brown he caught this morning. I need to get in the water more...
