    That is a nice looking fish..... bet it weighed more then 5 lb. If that is not a big fish for you I am getting all my gear and driving to that fishing hole and catching some fish!!!!

    Thanks man, It might have. But I didn't have a scale. Rather under rate a fish then over rate it, that's how you get flamed on forums. lol

    It put up a good fight though. If your ever in the area, let me know, I'll take you there. I know of a few city lakes known to produce 7-12lb LMB. I've yet to see any myself- but the area, and envioronment for the fish would lead me to believe it's possible.

    wow...very nice fish. What did he catch that on? Spin rod or fly rod and if it was a fly rod, what fly was he using? I'm assuming he was fly fishing since he is wearing waders and a fly vest.

    Spinning rod. It was just a quick trip and we didn't feel like messing with the fly rods. When I'm not fly fishing, I keep my little boxes of spinners and plugs in the pockets instead of my fly box. Just makes things easier to wear the vest. There was no way we were gonna hop in that creek without waders with it being in the 40s outside.
