    CRISIS AVERTED!

It was the boat motor. Took it in today to get checked out. The jets in the carb were all FUBARed. But he was able to take care of it for me. She purrs real nice now.

Got a few pics to post later from Arkansas. Got screwed over by the generation schedule, and we were fishing "minimum flow", so there was basically no water. We still managed to get 20 fish from 17-20". Nothin bigger than that, though :(

And...I have wanted a tattoo for a while, and couldnt figure out what I wanted. I finally realized, what better than something to do with fishing?

Pretty cool man! I'm coastal bound for a 3 day trip, winds 30+ mph is going to be rough tomorrow, supposed to settle down for Thurs/Fri. Hoping to get on some big redfish and to have some pictures to share here!

This is what we were dealing with. In this pic, I'm standing in the middle of the river. There was ZERO water. The had a tournament Saturday, and limited it to 125 boats. It always fills up...except when everyone heard they weren't generating. 52 boats showed up, and the biggest fish brought in was 1.5 lbs.

Well this trip went a little different than planned. I caught a lot of reds, but all undersized. I did end up catching a few keeper trout, and my first ever on artificial!! I am super pumped about that :taco:

Went fishing yesterday at a friend's ranch. He has a 30+ acre lake and to keep the fish healthy it is important to keep the population levels in check for the lake size and food. We keep bass under 18". Had a good haul yesterday. Between my friend and I we caught about 75 fish.
The lake has some real monsters in it. The big one of the day was right at 26" and was very old. Had the big bug eyes and everything. She should have gone over 10 but was skinny and right at 8 pounds. Still a great catch and was even better that I got her on a top water with a whippy medium action rod.
