That's what I was thinking of! Ugh, don't think it would work forgot it pivots. My guess it would slap around and maybe walk the chain off.

I recently went 8spd on a single speed bike I wasn't riding. It has a 34t up front and an 11-30t cassette. It is much better and more useful and enjoyable than it was as a single speed. The gearing is fine for most stuff but will work you over on long climbs or long stretches of soft crap but with 1 chainring up front you just can't cover every situation. It will suffer on hard climbing or riding at any spped when the opportunity presents itself like is possible with double or triples. It is generally a bit flatter where I live than where I like to do the serious riding so it's OK compromise for some places. I wouldn't take this bike on any real hilly stuff tho. I have other bikes for that. This is my opinion of the 34t up front which is basically +2 on what voodoochild posted up top of this page.

it's green with gold n white accents. looks tits. I was up in teh air between the 2011 1.0 & 2.0, or the 2012 2.0. the 2011 1.0 and 2012 2.0 were same price, while the 2011 2.0 was $150 less.

Be careful out there guys. I suffered a testicular torsion after a ride last saturday. The pain was intense. I had emergency surgery to correct the problem and still pray that everything will turn out okay. As far as the bike, I'm not sure I'll be riding ever again. I'll wait until I talk with the surgeon on my follow-up. Regardless, be careful.

x2...I did that riding an exercise bike in college when I had a bad ankle. It hurt so bad, and I had no idea what was wrong so I went to the school clinic (mistake #1) told them my balls hurt (mistake #2) it was a very long week.

The spermatic cord twists and causes blood flow to the testicle to stop. If the problem is not corrected in time the testicle may die. You'll know there's a problem. The pain is intense to the point where I almost blacked out driving home (bad). There was pain from the testicle all the way up to my lower abdomen. If you ever feel pain in your testicles, head to the emergency room immediately, time is of the essence.

I was wearing riding shorts with a chamois.
