    Thank you.
Thanks. I was impressed with my first one. I became almost faithful to the brand. This new one is very smooth. I adjusted the seat, set the air pressure on the shocks and removed all the reflectors on the bike. MUCH BETTER. :D

Sweet ride. It was one of the ones on my wish list when I got Stumpy. Was going to match my road bike.

Very close to it. It has 4.7" of travel. http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/mountain/singletrack_trail/fuel_ex/fuel_ex_8/#

The stumpy is another great bike. If I remember, it's a little more expensive than the Fuel EX8. Naturally I was already sold on Trek, so I stuck to the same bike but a newer model - Kinda like the Tacoma.

When I bought mine at the bike show, the Stumpy was $2k off...I actually wasn't going to buy a bike, but I couldn't pass that up. I was there to get brakes and pedals. I remember looking at my wife and saying, "Well, it has brakes and pedals..." (They had a set of Candies on it). The Stumpy wasn't really on my radar, but between the price and the brain shock for my fat ass, I was sold. The fuel was actually #1 on my list.

A good price makes a lot of stuff more compelling when you're in the market. It's still a great choice for a bike too.

I rode the Fuel EX9, it's a pretty nice bike for sure. Then I demoed the Giant Trance X1 and was sold on the Maestro suspension. Hands down the best rear suspension I have ever ridden. I highly suggest everyone give it a try when they are looking at their next bike. I'm not a Giant rep, or trying to push that brand, it's just really that good :)

I'm a big fan of Giant as well, in particular the Maestro rear suspension. Climbs like a goat, never need lockout. My bike is a 2008 Trance X1. I recently tried an Anthem X 29er, I gotta say I was impressed as I used to be a 29er "flat-earther". My next bike just might be the upcoming Trance X 29er. But definitely loving my current setup, here it is a few months back along with some pics of my latest add-on, a dropper seat post (Rock Shox Reverb).

OMG! Are you kidding? I would have purchased 2 of them. haha. That's a hell of a great deal. Forget the good. LUCKY BRO! That must be some nice brakes and pedals. Congrats on yours.

Don't know about the lightly part. :p Haven't had it a week and I've hit the trails 3 times already. I'm so happy to be back on it. It's like I never left.

I took video of my second ride with my new GoPro Hero2 camera. Haha. I thought I'd share.
