Does anyone use the remote adjustable seatpost? I was super annoyed with having to stop on my ride to raise and lower for uphill and descents...

it wasnt too bad. its probably been ridden harder than most people who would want to buy it will be riding it haha if that makes sense.
thatll be tough to find a used FS bike for under a G new or used. what are you looking to do with it?

i dont have one but i have used the Rockshox Reverb. It took me a little to remember it was there but once i did i used it a lot. one thing that i did notice about it and that i have read is a problem of droppers that they can be squishy kinda. It wasnt too bad so maybe its something that can be adjusted, im not sure

I'm running a Specialized Command Post Blacklite. It definitely changes the way you ride (for the better). With all dropper posts, there are issues. Specialized has seemed to improved all issues they had with earlier posts and I haven't had any problems yet. It doesn't feel squishy as Stephen suggested he experienced with other posts if that makes a difference.

I'm getting used to the Reverb I have installed. I like the ability to adjust on the fly. Not crazy about the way the cable works though.

Only got two rides on my gravity dropper and LOVE it. Rock solid and works great even with the flimsy looking plastic bar mount switch.

It's rather old but if it's not claPped out, should be a sweet ride and worth the money if everything works properly and susp not blown and/or leaky.

Sold my 2011 Giant Anthem X2 26er recently and bought a new 2012 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp Carbon 29er two weeks ago. I'm really loving it so far! It's like a night and day difference on the long rides for sure.

    Yeah.
Good components for $500, but like Aaron mentioned, they need to be in working order, and the rear suspension bearings need to be tight. If they're not, it's gonna be expensive to get it back into tip-top shape. If they work good, it's a great deal.

Go take a look, grab the seat post down low in one hand and the back wheel in the other and wiggle the wheel side to side to see if there is any sideways play. If it feels loose, pass on it. Find out when the fork and shock was last serviced, too.

$400 seems like a spot on price. I'd make your rock bottom price $350.

Thanks bro! I'm trying to figure what I want to replace first. Maybe a carbon handlebar, titanium seatpost, new rear tire and go tubeless or just wait and get new wheels.
