    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
In the process of selling my black Nomad Carbon w/the Fox 40 at the moment.

Meanwhile, I just got its replacement on Friday. :D Got a smoking deal for this brand new in box 2012 frame. Bought it off a guy who does general maintenance for Santa Cruz Bikes HQ buildings and actually met him to get the frame at Santa Cruz Bikes HQ lol.

Will be less of a DH style build, and more XC/AM. Hopefully I'll have something special for DH in the future....just sold BACK my Syndi' V10 to my cousin. *sigh*

I was looking at them when you posted that lastnight. I am looking at a good pair. Were they expensive? If I still have my Cannondale I might set them up with Azonics and keep the clips on the new bike.

I got new clips and shoes 2 years ago, they are still pretty new. Mine are adjustable pedals so if I had to loosen them I would.

^Thanks I am trying to sell my Cannondale so that money goes to mod out the new bike. I might get pedals and grips to start out with. Then maybe organic brakes I guess, not too sure about that.

That's just about an average price for that bike, which was probably a little over 500 new. If you check the specs on it, the components are equal to and in some case below this and definitely below this. Both are from Costco and I own the Northrock XC6. Bought it brand new in box for $350, assembly was only putting on front wheel, pedals, and a couple other things. Real easy. I've put about 350 miles on it since April and it's a trooper, man. Nothing has broken, just have to tighten and lube it every couple rides.

The XC29 wasn't out when I bought mine, otherwise I would have found the extra 80 bucks ($430) and bought it. It's spec'd out like a $800 bike (Yes, other than the fork). I'd love to upgrade to it.

Geez, I just found this bike, what a deal!

Might be getting the bike tomorrow or maybe Thursday. I will def take pics once I get it here. I talked to the guy at the bike shop and I agree with him just didn't want to say it.... He thinks if something breaks then upgrade it. If I ride it alot and cant perform with something like pedals or brakes then change them and upgrade. I do that with everything already so that is pretty much what I was going to end up doing. I just like to have the biggest, baddest, best of everything....

cant really upgrade any of that haha...unless you go to XX1 i guess haha or i guess newer stuff if the rear der isnt a type 2 der. the only upgrade i could see for XX is brakes. ive never ridden XX brakes but i have ridden X0 and those brakes sucks. i like XT brakes wayyyy better and those are a lower level than XX

    Yeah.
Aren't the XX brakes just like the Elixir CR's? I have the Elixir CR's on both of my bikes and love them. They have both reach and contact adjustments and great modulation, and I haven't had an issue with either pair. I only had to bleed my first pair once when I switched bikes and had to adjust brake line lengths. Easy to bleed and no adjustments since.

I have had to change out rotors and pads, though.
