Now, y'all check out these freakin $32.00 led lights. Have been running these for awhile now. Many 3+ hr rides on hi setting and have not seen the low battery warning yet. They are kickass for the price.................

    Yeah.
I have one of these, paid $58, this is a great deal. I get right around 3 hours on high, but the low setting is plenty bright enough. I used the plastic piece from the included elastic head strap to make a helmet mount and put the battery in my Camelbak's media pocket. Works great!

@ T@co Prerunner, It actually did have blue ourys! They wore out from a season of WORS racing and 2 24 hour events... As you can tell by my current ride, I really love oury's :) The tires are sweetskinz. on the Marin

Myself and a bunch of riders in my urban ride group have been using these lights for the past few years. They have dropped in price but they are good lights, better than paying $100 for the Mi-newt night rider.

    Few heads up though.
The light is very focused. I preferred the spread of the night rider brand. Also the build quality is super cheap. The first gen model of these had a nack for catching on fire miduse! I hey were recalled but have since had no problems. The battery pack is super cheap and not super weather proof.

That being said, I bought a second set of two last year at $43 a piece, one goes on my helmet and one on my handle bar. Bright and enough to ride urban and trails at night even bright enough I still run my go pro at night.

    Yeah.
From what I recall, it took a couple of weeks for mine to arrive. I also ordered 2 flashlights with a similar LED that come with handlebar mounts, they were like $12 each, from a different seller. All arrived on the same day. I can set the woods on fire.

It's a super-bright LED, not a bulb. You'd just have to buy another one. Its brightness may diminish some over time, but you can check the CREE website for number of hours it should last. Kind of like CF bulbs, it should last a long time.

The temps have been really strange. Last week, rain. This week foggy mornings. Yesterday and today, warm weather. Reminds me of the weather on a certain October day many years ago

speaking of colder weather. what do you guys wear when it gets cold? i kinda want to get some pants but i feel like while riding ill get too hot, im thinking shorts and kneepads will be fine. snow is another story though, does anyone else ride in the snow? i plan to potentially ride in the snow once or twice.

another cool thing is the gopro 3! it looks soooo sick, the spec on the gopro hero 3 black edition look really nice check it out
