I need to build up my old Santa Cruz Bullit again. Would like to turn it into more of an AM/Park bike. I've robbed so many parts off it, its gonna take a lot to get it going.

    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
If you're gonna run 1x10, I've got a brand new in box M810-1 Saint crankset(w/Saint 68-73bb) I bought impulsively thinking I would use it. I have no plans to use it after all. Let me know, I'll let it go for cheap.

It was your idea, I didn't want to take your thunder or anything :p ill start one when I get off work and class at 3pm pacific time if one isn't started yet.

Should it be in the buy/sale section or the sports section? And I was thinking asking a mod as well would be a good idear.

On that note, would anybody have use for a set of Avid Juicy 3 brakes, front & rear? Need a few bucks to justify upgrading to a new set. Figured I just ask here instead of making a feeler thread in marketplace.

Looking up the brakes right now.... I might build the bike after all. It would be a secondary bike and the wife's bike when we trail ride.

Just had my bike at my LBS for a free tuneup as part of their bike expo. They bled both brakes, said pads are still good. There is a slight issue with the front caliper being sticky. I think one side is not returning properly. Sounds like this is a well known issue for Juicy 3's. They cleaned it up and adjusted and they dont not rub the rotor now, and said I will be happy with the bike when they called me to pick it up. They still said the front caliper could use an overhaul. Bought these new in 2008 and rode here and there for a total of 1500km max. Both front and rear were bled twice in four years by my LBS. I'm not very mechanically inclined and I don't really feel like fidling with it and would like to treat myself with a new set. I'm sure it is an easy fix for someone who doesn't mind a small DIY project. I'm looking into 2012 Shimano Deore M596 brakes to replace my Juicy 3's. Thats the whole story on them. :)

I thought there was a specific bike FS section. I'm confused now, so I still deserve the bag over my head.

There is a bike fs section in the buy/sell/trade section now. We were talking about it over the past couple of days and the guys cleared it through the mods. It should be cool and might be a good spot to put your brakes on. How much do you want for the brakes? I am going to be building a bike that is hopefully going to be good for all mt and downhill... lots of travel and still good for all mt trails.

I see it now. I will put them for sale there as well. As for price, I'm not quite sure what to ask for them. If you are still interested please pm me with an offer maybe.
