Hill leaving is boggling, no way nukeproof has the money spec has and seemed to have bent over backwards evolving the demo for him...remember his marketing for the upcoming carbon demo?

Either way.. I dont see them picking anyone up that's as iconic. I dont know where Stevie smith is in his contract but I could see a company throwing large amounts of money at him. He's riding on the heels of gwin. Further down the road I think Connor fearon is going to do great things.

yeah it is weird. I could see stevie smith going to them too except for the fact they just came out with the carbon wilson, i think they it would be smart for him to stay at devinci

one person i did see on the poll on pinkbike was danny hart, I feel like he could be a possibility, im just not sure where he is with his contract either

Hart looks at home with giant and they're a massive company themselves.

I read somewhere that the Talas forks have 20+ different seals. I would send them off to Push if they haven't been ever rebuilt and have been used.

How many have gone tubeless and plan on never going back?

The Trek that I bought is tubeless ready and I have some brand new Nevegals off my other bike that I plan on putting on but I want to go tubeless. Any negatives besides the already knowns-compressed air, sealant use and possible mess, etc.?

I've been tubeless since I got my bike back in 2008 and haven't looked back. I have Bontrager sealant in my tires

For the Talas the best option for FULL rebuild both cartridges FIT and Talas send it to Fox. Push can't tune the FIT yet (soon they will). If your just wanting to do what your listing its easy and you can do it with directions off the Fox Service webpage. The new seals are great...it's night and day compared to the old version.

I have Talas 36 160mm and it's a been finicky. Part of me wants to just convert it to a Float.

Funny I'm sitting here with a mess (soapy water) in the basement setting up tubeless on my daily driver. I don't have tubeless wheels or tires, so it's a little more work/effort. Watch a you-tube video or two for how to seat the bead, that the part that makes or breaks the start of getting them pumped up. I used a floor pump, however compressed air would have been a lot easier.

I read that compressed air is really needed to seat the bead against the rim for a tight seal. I just took off the front tire and it was stuck to the side of the rim really well to the point I almost thought Trek had glued the tires. I will probably take the plunge and go tubeless once the CFO gives me my allowance.

I'm going to give Fox a shout to see what it would cost to do a complete overhaul of both my fork and rear shock

I took the tire and tube off and I am going to run the rim into my LBS and ask what I need to do. I thought the rim tape that was on the rim already was what I needed but I am going to check.

my trek wheels are tubeless ready and when I emailed trek they said i still needed rim tape. Im not sure if they understood what I was asking but thats what they told me.

Do you have like a blue thing around the rim? it kind of looks like rim tape thats why im confused haha

When I converted my Bontrager rims to tubeless, they removed the blue tape and replaced it with a specific black one to convert it to tubeless. I had to order it from Trek/Bontrager

Sam had a bad year and I think Specialized pushed him out for lack of wins. I'm not sure why he went to NP/CRC. They don't really have the support expertise that he needs to win. Look at what Spec. and Trek were doing to support their teams (read as spend lots of $$). TBO, I'm really a Gwin fan!:D
