oh okay, the shock looks different. The scratch is a sick bike too bad they dont make it any more. the slash and remedy are now closer to the same category of bike.

I agree, they should bring it back, having the the 7 inch rear really makes it feel like a big bike.

I rode my buddys Rocky mountain slayer and it feels so straight up compaired to my trek

i forgot my friend had posted this on my facebook when i was thinking about getting a bmx bike. Its probably more of a bmx geometry over DJ geometry but im sure it will get the job done

Thanks anyways:) I might find some more eventually

Did a little research on it the other night and quite a few people said that they didnt really like to share the location of their jumps.
Good looking bike, but I am trying to stay with the DJ geometry. Thanks though! looked on PB and there are plenty for me to decide on.

alright good luck on your search!

i know what you mean about the secrecy. they just don't want random people destroying the jumps. that's how it is around here, like an unwritten code.

I would definitely hit up the shops that carry more bmx bikes. they tend to know about jumps. for some reason a ton of people prefer bmx bikes over djs and end up building bikes more suited to bmx bikes. If you show interest and get cool with the guys they might let you in on secrets if there are any.

    Thank you!

Yup, those were the reasons, and I dont blame them. I hate it when people mess with my stuff, whatever it is. Then you also dont have the pressure of all the other people lol

'Round here people also roll with BMX over DJs. I saw my first DJ in the store when i bought my 29er. Otherwise it was all BMX, XC, or Road/Triathlon. I very well may end up going BMX geo, but id like a bigger bike to start with

I have a few old friends ill probably hit up soon and see what theyve got, and i will go up and ask at bike shops, thanks for that idea.

^^^ alot will depend on your area up here by me its all mtb/dj's no one rides bmx. As for finding jumps making friends with people who work at shops is a good place to start. If you do find some jumps be ready to lend a hand with the building and up keep with the jumps, many people take offense if you just come ride and dont lend a hand with shoveling

x2 ill be honest i havent helped yet but thats because im never in town long enough to ride more than once or twice. I would totally help if I was there more.
Yeah I wanted a dj at first too because it was a 26in wheel so i didnt have to go from my 26in mtb to 20in bmx but now i want a bmx because i find myself trying to do table tops and moto whips with my mtb. I think practicing on a bmx will be a lot easier. not to mention i want to 180 and it hard AF on a dj. although i did land it once on flat ground haha:D

I'll keep this in mind. I definitely dont mind shoveling.
Lol. I have an old wallyworld BMX from a few years ago and have been riding around on that lately. After riding on a 29er its way to small for me, and is the same weight...

Ive gotten closer to flat 180 on my mtb than on my bmx lol. i just cant get myself to spin all the way around.

Nice bike. Still unsure about going 29er myself. I have a 2010 Camber Elite 26" though and I love it. Takes a pounding and keeps on going.

mine are routed on the bottom as well (specialized) but they are tucked close against the frame and not hanging down like that. That almost looks like it shouldnt be like that :notsure:

Wonder why they didn't route them under the top tube on either side then split off after the fr shock mount then down seatstays. Be much less of an awkward loop to derailleur and rr disc.

After riding my brakes get very noisy. Ive been told that a little brake cleaner for vehicles can help get rid of this. anyone else do that or have a method for cleaning their disk brakes?
