I've always liked the bike (Stumpjumper) but hated it's nickname, lol. Dunno why, just sounds wrong, like it's missing an appendage.

This goes out to you and everyone else!!!! I need Help Ladies and Gents. I work through during the week in Monticello Utah. On my way home I drive through Moab, which needless to say has a ton of bike shops. I am not procrastinating, just thought of a last minuet gift for valentines day for my better half. She is what got me into biking and has a huge passion for it.

......get to the point. I want to stop on the way home and pick her up a sweet biking video. This one that JPneely post is awesome but wanted to get some advice. I remember growiing up skateboarding and loved the videos with the best soundtracks, versatile terrain/tricks, cinematography, and so forth. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Steve
    p.s. i leave tomorrow midday:cheers:

nice kevin, im sure your going to love the stumpy with the new pedals. You should pick up a shock pump too! or atleast take it to the shop and see if they will help you set the sag.

i also agree with where the trail ends! great movie. Strength in Numbers was a good recent movie too, its got a wider variety of riding. But where the trail ends is just epic!

Forgot to mention that I ordered a shock pump yesterday too .

They guy I bought the bike from said he deflated one chamber on the fork to help compress it for shipping.

hmm, i heard they were pretty great. ive never ridden one but a guy i talked to said it was the bike that turned him to 29ers. he was riding a mid travel jamis, i forgot what model.

with that said ive been skeptical of the giants compared to trek, spec, SC, yeti and of those. the seat tube angle online says it 73* which is normal. i think its probably one of the effective and actual or something like that. head tube angle looks normal for a 29er too, maybe its in the rake/offset? idk haha
