Hard Rock is my first MTB! Still can't believe I'm on a 9er honestly. Haven't ridden a bike in almost 20yrs. Bought it new late last Fall but only got 3 rides in thanks to work. Now that I moved to CO at the beginning of the year, I'm ready to get this thing dirty here!

I'm pulling for a lot of guys this season lol...

Of course, I'm partial to the Syndicate V10 Men Peaty/Minaar/Ratboy BUT I really hope to see Cedric Gracia make a strong comeback after nearly dying being treated for his injury last season!

Aside from Syndicate, I'm really looking forward to Sam Hill & Danny Hart go for it again, and I've always been a Steve Smith fan--hopefully he can bring more podiums for Devinci!

Thanks, it is. Going on 15 miles of nice forested shade. The boyfriend of one of my sisters is doing the trail building/maintenance/expansion. Their house is 5 miles away so riding to trails and riding the trails then back turns into about a 25 mile ride. Only crashed twice and fell over twice on the first ride with the clip-ins that day. Got some cool video of it too. Not even gonna ride clipped in at austin next weekend. Dirt, leaves & sticks are one thing but rocks, cactus and cliffs are another.

Where are you riding in Austin? City Park is great -- tough, but great. The Barton Springs greenbelt is good, and Walnut Creek Park.

Is city park the new name for Emma Long? I've hit all those spots before - several times. Buddy lives out on Lake Travis out by Lago Vista going towards Marble Falls so nothing in town. We're gonna hit Canyon Lake on the way up Friday, Pace Bend Saturday and then probably something on the way out Sunday.

I think "City Park" is the old name, or name locals know it by, but yes, it's the one on the way out toward Emma Long.

Thanks, my dad gets upset when I post the GPS track and no video.

Rollercoaster is relatively new, but I think it was there before 2010. Maybe only one trail that is out by what used to be called Blue Ribbon, now called Cedar Bluff. It's a nice, rocky, technical climb up the side of a steep hill. Right now the lower stuff is under water, so you'd have to come from the Sherman Beach area, and it's probably muck out there right now.

There's a new trail called Bluff View out that way off of the Al Foster trail, but it is not real long. I haven't checked it out yet. Most of the new stuff is being done at Greensfelder, and some stuff out in St Charles County at Lost Valley and Matson Hill. I only do Lost Valley as a night ride (it is kinda boring otherwise, but getting better as they replace double-track with single-track), but Matson Hill is a gem and has doubled in length over the last few years.
