Yeah with the brand new seat and pedals... I was thinking I paid 100... so I get 50.00 out of them... So 450.00 for the bike

Yeah just checked out PinkBike... smaller frame ones are going for 400.00 with less options. So I thinking I'm fair at 450.00 OBO

I have been seeing a lot of rattlesnakes this year. Mostly like 2-3 footers but the other day I saw a big one at 6 feet.

Looking to get into mountain biking, I blew my knee out in the academy so I need something lower impact that running to help build my cardio back up. Planning in picking up a new hardtail. The two main models I'm looking at are the cannondale trail 7 and the specialized hardrock disc. Both are available locally. Any reason to choose one over the other ?

    The better coast
I am partial to cannondale but thats because I ride a road bike from them :p. I have only ridden road but I have test rode a few specs would still choose cannondale over them. They make awesome aluminum frames.

two things to note...If you can, get the best bike you can afford. i chose my bke with lower class components on it and have been regretting it after about the second month. I think I have read the trail 6 if a good upgrade for the money.

the second thing is that if you're not in the market right this second, around early October year end sales start to happen. My shop marks down their bikes 30-50%.

Do some research on both and go for some test rides.

yeah i like them a lot too, except that they were so slow to pick up the all mountain 29er, its gonna be tough to compete with the enduro 29er and others like it.

Agreed but I love their hard tail 29er's my wife and I both have one. I sold all my full suspension XC, all mountain, and DH Bikes when my daughter was born. The hard tail keeps me in check so I don't jack my self up now that I'm responsible for feeding someone. :)
