I've never been there. Just started mtbing. Raced bmx for years, but the car accident ended that. Just happy to be alive & able to ride.

I've ridden Wakefield a couple times on my old hardtail. Just bought a fs bike & love it.

havnt posted on here in awhile and made some big changes, after racing Downhill on Specialized bikes for almost 6 years i made two big switches...left the FSR for VPP and leaving DH racing for Enduro & Super D racing just got this bad boy a few weeks ago!!! Intense Cycles hooked it up big time! I honestly recomend anyone who hasnt yet to try a 650b bike im amazed! Already crushed all the local strava times on it even on the DH trails :p rides damn like a DH bike going down and climbs better than my old Stumpy Evo! the 27.5 wheels definitely haul ass too!!! Couldnt be more stoked on it haha

I love the Fuzz ball, lol! A lot of my riding buddies told me to spend the money on a well known used bike, but im glad I didnt. I love how Fezzari sets up the bike for each rider. You dont get that at a local shop w/o buying extra parts. Plus a comparable new bike would run over a grand more for any other brand. I did a lot of research before I made the choice. IMO all the negative you hear about Fezzaris is just people not knowing the brand. I been riding the wheels off it for over a year w/o a tune up, just routine maint. and its been holding up like no other. No problems to speak of as of yet. Plus their bikes come with a life time frame warranty and decent parts list.

A good shop will, within reason, swap components to get you properly fitted and comfortable on your new ride. Clearly, you're not gonna get XTR to replace LX but if the shop can swap like for like, most good shops will. If you do want upgraded goodies, you may get credit by swapping.

Fountainhead was a blast. But I am so beat. We did 2 laps on the green loop with a 1/2 hour break in between. That place will make you realize how out of shape you are. I need to ride more.

I had to pay for upgraded parts that I wanted, but they installed them for free, as I hope any shop would do if you bought a bike from them. I meant like different size parts. They put the appropriate length cranks, stem, cut the seat post, and bars. They have you give all your body measurements, rider positioning and riding style. They build and set the bike up for you 100%.

Anybody know a shop in the Denver area that will take trade-ins? I have a Kona Hoss, SE floval flyer 24", and RedLine pro-line pro that I would like to unload and get a full suspension mtn bike.

What about a shop that rents? That'd be one way to experience the ride.
