    got my bike painted, slowly ordering parts. Just picked up a Rock Shox Tora 302 set of slightly used forks. Nothing special but keeping it cheap.

    sold the tailgate when i got a good offer for it :) trucks going into the shop anyways monday to get tire carrier and bed cage so dont need it any more haha

    Matt should be a Kuat rep he has been preaching it to me since the day i met him haha and thats why i traded my 4bike Thule T2 for a 2 bike Kuat, the racks are seriously the shit tho

    I bought a Sportworks rack off of CL a while back. They are located here in Washington state and the rack was made here. They used to have a consumer line back in the early 2000s and then they sold the consumer line and their designs to Thule. Their big claim to fame is they make racks for transit buses.

    The rack is solid steel. I have no fear of a rear end accident. The only option I wish it had would be a swing away. I might have to figure out how to modify it.

    Are you sure it wasn't the total repair cost cause that is just crazy. Might be cheaper to fly over and pick it up :D
