Oh. So they do the charge up front to cover the repair and when they're done, everything gets adjusted.

I Have a Specialized Stumpjumper 29" comp. I've had this bike for a good 4 or 5 years now. As with all my bikes, I constantly have to work on them as I ride them extremely hard.

I need to send in a couple RP23s for service. Been saying that for a few years now but every winter I'm like damn I don't wanna be without my bike LOL.

Find someone local to rebuild them. I'm sure there's someone who could help you out.

    Yeah.
Agreed, I did my old one as well, very easy and the parts kit is super cheap. The hardest part was getting the shock on and off the bike.

I've got a DCRV one now, not sure I will tackle that myself yet.

Rode Snow Summit last weekend. First time back on a bike in over a year. Had a blast, but quickly learned my out of date, and under powered Avid Juicy 5's were not sufficient. Mad brake fade ensued.
    Summit_2_35eb5505dc4bf32afc084c84ce84d9c038566e82.jpg

So I updated the brakes to Saints. Can't wait to try these out.

Went for a little over a 10 mile night ride last night. A buddy let me barrow a light. It was my first night ride... interesting to say the least. With the heat the last couple weeks, night rides are the only way to go. We started at like 10pm and it was still 92... Im sold on night rides in the summer, already ordered me a light. It sure beats waking up when its still dark, then trying to beat the sun and get your whole ride in before you fry! Didnt want to take pics, figured it would be pointless in the dark. Sorry.

I've never used Shimano gear on any of my 15 bikes (at one point) aside from saint cranks. The XT and SLX brakes I've tried on other peoples bikes felt really nice though. Very modular.

These Saint brakes are fancy looking, feel pretty nice coming off of cheap ass Juicy 5 brakes. A few lift runs will let me know if they were worth the heavy coin I dropped on these.

My closest local shop can't even reliably bleed disc brakes..........considering PUSH actually due to good reviews on their Motolite tune:confused:
