till there gone id guess  not sure if i was at the shop i could let you know exactly how many are in stock but I'm not at work right now lol the only thing I'm not sure about is the code it works online but i don't think its supposed to with that bike but since its already discounted so the promo code might end up not working on it in the future but i doubt it will sell out to quick

You have no idea.... My DH race bike was about $6k and my Super D / Enduro race bike is about $4k. (I have 4 other bikes....no comment). Take your time and test ride as many as you can before you make any decisions. Also keep in mind what you will be doing with it (trail riding, commuting, jumping, etc.). Have fun!

I think Jordan is right about that being a good first bike for me to commute and start trail riding etc

I agree. Start with an inexpensive bike and see how you like riding. If you change your mind you're not out a lot of money. I've seen too many people think they're going to be big riders and blow a lot of money on a bike and they find out they don't really like it as much as the idea. Good luck....

seriously i bought my first legit mountain bike like 3 years ago and now i have a fuel ex8 definitely a bit more than a beginner bike and my most expensive hobby haha.

that GT looks good though, i wish i hadnt sold my first hard tail and made it a commuter. i dont ride my bike to class because im afraid of it getting stolen and wearing it out faster than it needs to since tires and chains can start to get expensive haha

According to Bikepedia, the original components appear to be a good entry-level setup. Hydraulic disc brakes (Shimano) and SRAM X.5. The fork is a coil fork, but a decent RockShox one.

What is the guy asking? MSRP new was $930. I am thinking $350 is a good price in perfect condition.

It'll cost more to do that...unless you buy everything used. But I'd like to do that one day.
