I've ridden the 5.7, but the the 429.. I have to say that to me, the 5.7 didn't come anywhere close to the Mach 6.. Something, or everything about that bike just worked.. Had i not gotten my sb, I would have done the mach 6, but I am in no way disappointed with my sb purchase..

    Nice!!

I was looking at the SB66 as well, but it's more descent-oriented than the SB75. And as much as I like bombing hills, I need a bike that has good trail manners as well. The SB75 has 1" less travel than the SB66 but the 27.5 rolls better and that's good enough for me.

Fair enough, however I have to say that even though it is a 6 inch bike, the 66 is surprisingly great on trails.. I've done everything from basic single track, to a park day at Big Bear on it, and it does amazing. Hell, when I went to big bear last month I brought the sb and my dh bike... Ended up switching to the sb halfway through the first day and rode that the rest of the weekend..

Nice. I've done some freeride on the 75 and it handled it just fine. The CTD suspension allows the bike to handle pretty much everything I've ridden it on so far. I dropped a 9 stair on it in a park last week no problem.

I've heard great things about the 75 and the shop I go to has been selling the hell out of them.. Yeti definitely knows how to build some great bikes.

Yes they do. The day I decided on the 75 Yeti was at the bike shop doing a demo ride. I met a few of the main guys form Yeti and they shook my hand and welcomed me to the Tribe. Apparently my 75 was the last 2104 Short Bus Yellow color sold in the US. Pretty sweet, right?!

finally got out for the first ride of the year

we had tornado warnings up and down the front range and killed the xgames broadcast so i took the bike out...threw some more stans in the tires and lubed up some parts in the morning hoping to find a good excuse to get out...

as much as i can, i think i'll head out on rainy days now :D went up the canyon from my place which normally has a good amount of traffic on the trails...but it was empty yesterday...allowed for some great lines down the hills...took the time to hack at a rock garden i've been passing on for years and finally found a clean line down it! but empty trails really allowed me to open things up...bear creek trails are a lot of fun if you attack them

    pumped for the season

Thanks, so far its been great. My previous ride was a DH rig and I was a bit concerned about the BMC being full carbon. The weight and big travel has won me over, Love it.

swapped in a race face crankset, crank bros platforms, converted my wheelset to tubeless and running WTB Weirwolf 2.3 & 2.1 tires, swapped out seat and handlebar setups...and i'll be doing a 180 rotor swap this weekend..

i've not had any issues with the float rear shock like that...

he's a quick one! I'm still waiting for him to win one. The craziest part is he seemed pinned the entire time and still didn't win! I would like to see Troy Brosnan's run.

Hey guys just got a new ride and wondering what y'all use for transport in the bed of your tacos? Has the 15mm thru axle. Ive got the normal fork mounts on my tool box but need to find a replacement mount.

upgraded last night to 180mm rotors and got out today to break them in...

definitely liking the change...one finger braking is much easier making downhill control much better!

plan was to head up to winter park for some downhill, but a late start shut down that option...so i went back to an old favorite, Apex trail in Golden...lots of fun technical sections throughout, but the Enchanted Forest has always been my favorite trail in the front range

i'll have to strap the GoPro on one of these days and capture this section...so much fun :D
