    Yeah.
Well, in the interest of sounding stoopid, here is my new 29er ride:

    [IMG]IMG-20140627-00137 by MrTenBeers, on Flickr

650b is just training wheels for the big wheel bikes! OK, maybe not, but this baby is full carbon fiber and I got a deal I could not pass up.

Some nice bikes in here. 650, 29er, 26er, what's more important is that you ride it! Our closest bike park is 7 Springs. I don't have a ton of pictures from there, but here's one from a couple seasons back

I don't have any bike parks around me that I'm aware of. I've just been finding trails through the woods. My 26" has been getting me over rocks and fallen trees no problem. Trying to pedal uphill in soft sand/gravel is the challenge.

I just got my first mountain bike today, nothing fancy just got a specialized hardrock 29er looking forward to starting a new hobby. :)

Sorry about the dirty garage college kids in the process of moving...

Hardrock is a great starter bike. And there are some awesome trails in Arizona. My favorite that I've ridden out there is South Mountain, which I believe is pretty near Chandler area.

I can't buy my Sultan until next jan:mad:

Turner, along with changing fabricators, is doing a complete overhaul on the frame. Hopefully it's worth the wait

    Yeah.
I love that bike. It was Gary Fisher's celebration of 10 years of the 29er (I didn't realize they had been around that long). They sold it fully rigid with some funky handlebars, but I found a G2 offset Reba on eBay and put a straight bar on it. Chromoly steel with a split rear dropout so you can convert it to belt drive if you want. It's a little heavy, but really fun to ride.

I may put the rigid fork back on and convert it to a SS town bike, not sure if I will go belt drive.

Still haven't caught the 29er bug... My Stumpjumper FSR, still practically out of the box stock.

After tires, grips, bars, stem, saddle, dropper post & 203mm front rotor. This bike makes going up almost as much fun as going down...

Ok i dont know if this has happened to anyone else, but after a recent, muddy ride, i cleaned my bike with the hose and a rag, taking it out for a spin around the neighborhood, the gears sounded like they were grinding and the rear wouldnt shift well. Took it to a shop and they said i most likely washed the grease out of the rear cassette axle bearing thing, and it needed replaced. I was a little upset that this happened so easily, i mean i sprayed it down with a hose for gods sake....
