my LBS has sold a few of them and just got another in stock.. Definitely awesome bikes. I've got the sb66c and it's great and all I've heard is that the new version is even better...

Great thread! Got to love MTBs and Tacos!

    I'm riding a Trek Fuel EX 9 29er.

Made my own through axle mount for the Taco for about $10.

Was so close to buying an Enduro. LBS talked me into the SJ, I'm liking it so far. Haven't gotten enough miles on it to fully decide if I made the right decision yet.

She other bike I was on was an stumpy elite 29. We do a lot of climbing and some downhill. So they each have their pros and cons in different conditions...
Both sick bikea though! For me, the extra cash money for the carbon is no way worth it.
Hard to beat a stumpy, you won't be disappointed.

just got my bike back from the shop today. they had to send the fork to be serviced at fox because they thought the stanchion was loose in the crown. The shop said fox had replaced the crown and stanchions and did the regular service all under warranty. safe to say I am stoked! +1 for fox and my shop SBC right there!

I picked up the Carbon Stumpy for LESS than the alu model though! Or else I'd be in a Stumpy EVO or Enduro. Couldn't pass up the deal, I can always upgrade to an EVO link and Pike later.

I was chasing the dog around the yard on some under-inflated tires the other day...that turned into a giant CF but I did get a set of new tires installed :D

Awesome to find so many other riders here! I ride a 2012 Trek Superfly carbon 29er. I've put in over 700 miles since June this year and still try to squeeze in as much riding as I can before that northern winter weather finally sets in.
