at the recommendation of @Jp450 I got a 1upUSA quik rack with an add on to use on 1.25 and 2" hitches. Amazingly solid. After playing with other hitch tray carriers including the KUAT NV this definitely takes the cake!

I'm a pretty serious rider and I love my bike like a second child. She gets rebuilt and cleaned often. 2013 Cove STD with a custom build and graphics kit made by a buddy of mine.

Nothing much. I haven't been bitten by the mod bug. A little plasti dip. And a set of Wet Okole seat covers with gun pouch.

It took two days for you to get sore? You must be young.

So, I spoke with the doctor while getting my stitches removed and getting a new cast about when I could realistically get back to bombing down the hills. I got the seriously depressing answer of six months. When I can finally start riding again, I'm gonna get a new bike, I want to go back down to a 27.5" tire.

Here is my after surgery x-Ray and a pic of my gnarly looking future scar.

Hey guys. Building a '14 Chameleon 26'er. Looking for a new or slightly used wheelset, at a good price of course:D. Looking for Stans Flow EX on Hope Evo hubs. Let me know if you've got either or both.

Wiggle usually has good prices on those. I got mine from cyclesports.co.UK for $400 for the set. Hope is in England so it's cheaper to order from an England bike shop.

Thanks man. Wiggle doesn't have the wheels. Either sold out or don't carry them anymore. I did check on the other site and I guess they went under. Everything I read on them say they're no longer in business but thanks for the UK tip. I'll look into it

went on a group ride today, lots of fun until the end of the ride. had a little scare with one of the riders, he was seen with a flat at the top of the trail but said he was fine so noone stopped (he was the second to last one down). we waited at the bottom for him for about half an hour before two of the best riders went up to check(one is an EMT). it was starting to get dark by this time so i waited another 5-10 minutes before heading back to my truck. about an hour later, those of us who left were waiting at our cars when the rest of the group gets back, the rider with the flat was nowhere to be found. it was pitch black at this point. we were all trying to get flashlights and first aid kits ready to prepare for the worst and drive to the top and have three guys ride down the trail. all of a sudden he shows up from the other direction using his phone light and jamming to some music.

fortunately he was fine, probably a little disappointed cause we just road about 6 miles of pure climbing on the road and another 4 to the trail head on some crappy fireroad.

anyways my point is that now I am definitely gonna be keeping a light in my pack from now on and a better first aid kit. fortunately im in the SOLO wilderness first aid class so I'll know how to use it more efficiently soon.
