    For some reason I have had a massive bike bug up my ass for the last 3 months. It all started when I decided I was going to dust off my 15 year old hard tail I hadn't ridden in 14 years.

    Started the whole thing off with a 45 mile road ride on my hardtail with slicks a few weeks ago. I knew I was hooked again on ridin'.

    4 weeks ago I bought a brand new 2011 Cannondale Synapse road bike and modded it already. This last weekend I bought a new leftover 2010 GT Force FS and just threw on my first round of mods today I got over nighted from Jensen.

    Sometime next year I will replace the Fox air rear shock with a coil as I'm fat and like to go fast sometimes. I will try to remember to put up pics Friday. The technology they have nowadays is mind blowing on some bikes.

    A fantastic improvement, but the fact that I am running Sram, and do not wish to change, along with the cost of swapping to Shimano, will keep me away for a while. I would be interested when Sram brings something similar to the market, though I am looking at a SS build next, so no shifting pieces needed.

    Nice find!

    And the graphics are fantastic, got one on the back window now. Thanks again!!

    Are those elastomer Judy XC's? If so, those are the same exact forks on my old ass hardtail too.

    So that's what the screws on the bottom of bikes are for. Will that water bottle stay there? Seems like it would bounce out too easily.

    i would think in that spot you would get a lot of dirt on the bottle and stuff...not really something i would want to deal with on the trail

    Camelback. It's the way to go. Carry everything you need plus 100oz of water.

    These days, I wouldn't bother with a cage/water bottle setup.

    Egh if it falls out it falls out. I've drank from dirty water bottles before and I'm still alive. Any condinsation on the bottle is going to attract dust anyway.

    I will let you know in a few days and yes that's what the bolts are for. Bottle and or pump mounting.

    Yea, I use a cheap one from walmart, mostly just to keep weight off the bike. I like to keep a snack and my phone in there too. :D

    Just upgraded to this a week and a half ago! Its like night and day over the old hardrock. Also, I'm new to these pedals coming from spd pedals...Is there any major differences I should look out for or do they basically feel the same?

    I dont use a camelbak anymore, i use a wingnut pack. They are way more comfortable and better than camelbaks! plus you can access all the pockets without taking the pack. Ill also mention its made in the USA
