Haven't ridden a bike in 10+ years. Trying not to get fat, so I just bought a Trek 820, nothing special.

It's the bike version of a double-wishbone suspension. Note the bumpstop on the lower control arm. :)

Crazy how some of the bike coilovers cost more than ones for our trucks.

I finally got out on our local single track trails this sunday. Man it was a blast! :D My bike handled everything great! (specialized hardrock pro) Im glad I got a nicer bike bike that I can grow into. My buddy that went with me was riding a mongoose and he was having trouble the entire time unless we were on just flat ground, his couldnt climb any hills and kept jumping gears on him.

Ill try and get some pics of the sketchy spots on the next trip.

Anybody on here used lights from this company, Geoman Gear? Saw a guy from a half-mile off with dual 900 lumen lights and I had to stop and ask him where he got em, I got a 1000 and a 1600 on order. Being that I dam near hit and owl with my face, missed a skunk by a foot, scared the crap out of a coyote and almost got hit in the face by two bats, all in the last month, I figured on upgrading the lights and ditching the cat-eyes. I'll post when I get em.

Anyone know anything about Orbea bikes? My local shop is starting to get them in but I can't find a whole lot of info about them. They look pretty sweet.

Each one comes with a 6 amp pack, the specs say something like three hours at full power and there are three or four settings power-wise, it also has colored lights that tell you roughly how much juice you have left. The guy I met who had the dual 900's said people bitch at him, I don't care, it's better I see you or your pet rather than killing your dog or putting you in the hospital after having run into you at 20 MPH.
