I can second terk care My wife crashed her road bike and did a good number on it. no questions asked new derailleur, chain and trued the wheel. On my cross rip after every major race they go though it for me and see what I trashed so far only thing I've paid for are tubes and a set of disc brake pads.

The loaner bike I've been abusing waiting for my bike to finish getting built. Don't really care for some of the components or the head angle, but she climbs like nobodies business. I've been able to shave large amounts of times off all my climbs for Strava. (It's an Intense Spider 275C Pro Build)

    IMG_1725_zpsserrvtlp_661939743e4bbbe84be43bf7e2d943ced7a00cc2.jpg

I should finally be able to pick up my new bike tomorrow (I was told I would have it by Wednesday at the latest - shit happens).

Went and looked at a specialized camber comp 29 today and rode it around the parking lot. I liked it a lot. I wanna ride a fuel ex 7 or 8 and then I think my decision is going to be between the 2.

I just picked up the new Fuel EX 8 27.5+. It's really slick, but I really wish they wouldn't have had one in my size (the only one they had). I just went in to get some socks, dangit. Pics later, just converted tires to tubeless and waiting for it to cool off a bit.

Because I really didn't need another bike right now! I already have one for sale, now I need to dump 2 of them.

Not sure what size you need or your cash situation, but I have a full-carbon Fuel EX 29 custom Project One bike for sale in size 18.5 (medium) for a great deal -- it's a $6K+ bike, selling it for less than half of that. Ahh I here ya. If I had the cash to drop I would jump all over that, unfortunately I will probably have to finance. Good luck with sale although I doubt you'll need it.

Is that a FF5 replica or actual cobra? Is that an early 2000s bike? Pinch brakes and 100mm or less of travel it looks like. Looks like great condition bike.

Sorry...didn't know they still made mountain bike with pinch brakes. Wish I had space and time to build a kit car or do more mods... must be fun to drive one of the FF5 cars. Thanks for the reply.

I had a faster average moving speed and top speed even on the first time out on this bike. It just feels natural, didn't really take any getting used to.

LOL, probably. It doesn't affect me for some reason, I stand around in it all the time.

Ticks, on the other hand, are probably second on my list. Right after chiggers. At least you can do a tick check and see them, chiggers just show up a few days later.

Yeah, just googled it, and apparently I am in the 15% that are immune to a reaction to poison ivy. It's everywhere around here, so I consider myself lucky. I just liked the mossy rock for that photo.
