1-1/8 head set, takes a 100mm fork, isis bottom bracket, standard hub spacing, v-brakes...

I'm running a Reba team fork, hydro disk front brake, and race face turbine xc w/ti bottom bracket in the x9 pattern, 9spd rear cassette on mine.

Only issue is the desire to have a rear disk.

And yes, $300 with no bids, likely because it's a pickup only, no shipping. But, he's local

Still miss my old Demo 8... That bike was awesome! plowed through boulders like it was nothing and could take any hit you threw at it!

Check out a Specialized shop or Trek. They’ll walk you through some good choices.

Correct tesch bikes are vintage and I hear they are sought after as they were hand built. I have one that I'm looking to sale but don't even know where to start. Won't be home till Thursday I'll post a picture then

Gonna be hard to determine anything with out a picture. Vintage bikes are a weird niche... some are worth $$$$ and others are barely worth scrap... so much depends on brand, year, condition and originality... one advantage you have is the fixie crowd tends to be into vintage bikes

I'd check out CL and ebay to see if there are any similar bikes posted for sale. Also look into http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/ there might be some decent info there too

    Yeah.
Somewhat vintage, and I had one just like it. Mine saw use and I eventually sold it, my wife's not so much, and I can't seem to let it go. Less than 5 miles on this thing.

I wouldn't let any bike made of Tange Prestige tubing go. Ride it.

    Yeah.
My wife is 4'11" and this is a tiny and rare 13.5" bike. Way too small for me, lol. She rides a comfort bike now, I just keep this one cleaned up and in working order. I may ask the local Trek shop if they want to hang it on a wall or something, they have some older bikes hanging around in there.

I have a Marin Bobcat Trail 3 for sale. I could meet you if you’re interested. I live near Bristol. I’m asking $450 for it. I’m 6’1, but it fits 5’9 to 6’2 I think. I’m upgrading. I’m in absolutely fantastic shape with about 50 miles on it.

In the old days that 13.5 frame would make a great dual slalom set up.

How ya likin those $20 lights? I dig'em, got 6 different sets of them in varying lumens. They kick ass over any other $300 nightsuns I had and tiny batteries hold up great, even on the 3400 lumen one with 3 LEDs in it. Always pull 3+ hrs of bright.
