    Yeah.
That's some badass stuff, even using Ohlins on the rear suspension.

Commencal makes a selection of youth bikes on 20" and 24" wheels at a couple different reasonable price points.

Don’t know much about Cannondale but those seem to be decent parts for the money...and those lefty’s are tits. It’s a nice bike for the price, I’d offer 650.

I'd heard about these 2 trails for a few years. Most people do a heli drop to it. I'm an "Earn your turns" kinda guy, so we slogged up from just above sea level.
There are 2 sections; Goat Ridge, and the lower 2/3's is called Disneyland. It was created by trials bikers in the 70's.
The weather here is AMAZING for this time of year (very cold, but no snow or rain), so we decided to do this ride on a whim.
I've ridden a lot in Squamish and the North Shore a few times a week, but this was bordering on epic, and totally different than the established trails in those locales.
Not sure what it was, but I'm still thinking about this ride 2 days later.
Extremely technical and steep slab that drops into steep, loamy forested sections.
Bike is a 2015 Kona Process 153 (That's me in the first photo, wearing Dickies, my favourite riding pants). I couldn't ask for more. Bought it used for $1800 last year. Switched back to 2x drivetrain for the super steep washed out fire roads used to access these trails. Added 4 tokens to the PIKE, and it feels great.

Haha I’ve sense taken it off. This was on of my first rides. One rock garden section cracked it and it started making noise so I ripped it off.

Nice Trek Xcaliber. I had that exact bike in green and black and tried tubeless. The rims are not set up for it. This was my recreational bike as I have a 2016 full suspension Stumpjumper and a 2015 Stumpjumper HT for XC racing. Built the FS from the ground up and have all the tools, so i thought I knew what I was doing going tubeless on the non tubeless rims. This bike I took it camping with the family and hit local singletrack with the kids. Anyways, I went ghetto tubeless (gorilla tape in rim). I noticed when installing the tires they went on the rims very easy. Did not even need levers which is odd. So a few days later I hit a little 1 foot jump with the kids on a rail trail. When I landed the tire slipped off the rim and I went down with a broken colar bone, punctured lung and massive bruising.

It seems the Mustang rim diameter is just a hair smaller than normal for some reason. Only go tubeless if you upgrade to tubeless rims. That bike work great with tubes.

Sold the bike with tubes in it. My bikes are attached above.

That's a beauty of a white bike. Is that the Trek or the Spec? I have a soft spot for white mountain bikes, not sure why.
Sorry to hear about the injuries!
TCS (Tubeless) rims have a bead retention profile that keeps the tire in place. That "SNAP" when they lock into place is reassuring. I run non tubeless tires on TCS rims and they lock into place well enough (it's a road bike with 29" TCS rims)
No downside in running TCS rims. Gotta love tubeless, though!
