Allllll stock. No clue lol. I love jumps even though I am terrified of gaps and I haven’t really figured out how to properly do a manual.

I just like almost dying tbh but I don’t have insurance so it’s a stupid gamble hahaha.

    Let’s go man!

I think I’ll be working next weekend but might not be. It’s all a good drive for us in the massive state that is Texas but looks like it’s the closest thing to a downhill track we will ever get while here lol.

We will plan something out though for sure!

Getting over the fear of faceplanting is a struggle lol...

Also learning how to control the bike in the air is a helluva battle.

Did a small loop at cypress creek in cypress and then went to a sketchy place in Houston called Anthills. It’s got the biggest drops and jumps in the Houston area and im trying to work on my jumping skills so I go once a week.

I got the balls to hit big jumps but not the skills as sometimes they buck me over the bars or throw me off balance in the air lol. Need to sort that out ASAP.

They’re just solid beginner bikes. You can get a decently built hard tail for $1000 or a full suspension with cheaper components. I went with the quality > quantity on mine and love it.

I'm not picky, I'll ride drop bar clipped in no suspension..........

    20170225_143116.jpg

or complete opposite..........full suspension flats and riser bars..................

    20170610_123832.jpg

It's all good. Different bikes, same places = different rides, different body hangovers. FS has saved my ass from bad choices and lax execution where hardtail would have equaled scars and poison ivy shots. Had those too. I know one thing, riding same stuff at same pace and going crazy on that 24 lb 29er FS leaves me feeling like superman and ready for more where any of my hardtails would be OMG, I need the next day off. There is big difference and trying to fool yourself only lasts until you sample the difference. Even my Stache 7, as fun as it is, makes me feel it the next day because the steamroller handfull it is where that Anthem X is like I didn't even ride in comparison. Unless you stand up the whole ride on the hardtail, your tail is gonna regret not having some FS on any decent trails. That gravel bike clipped in on decent trails is a total mind numbing workout to not die riding anywhere near the same as FS or hardtail yet is rewarding in some twisted warped way. Air clipped in with drop bars is a weird drug. Embrace it all and know one type is not the end all. n+1 rules for a reason. Build a stable.
