I like it a lot. It’s nice being able to see your phone while riding. But in Texas it does get 100* + and the phone does get hot inside of it. That’s my only complaint otherwise I love it.

I keep my phone, keys and bike tool thing inside of it.

Never heard of those. Have you ridden any trails with it yet? If so, how did it work for you?

I’m taking it out to Telluride this weekend. I didn’t have much issue with the chain popping off before but wanted extra assurances and ring safety.

Check out revelate designs. There are a couple others with similar products but can’t think of them off the top of my head.

First real ride being clipped in, only had three comical slow speed spills at the top of steep climbs. Finished a quick 3 mile loop along the savannah river then a 7 mile out & back along the canal tow path. Nice scenery as always

I've considered going with clips, but just can't get myself to take the plunge. Congrats on the first ride!

Thanks man, I’ve rode flats forever. It’s been about 3 years since I stopped riding (life got in the way), so I figured I might as well try being clipped and go from there now that I’m getting back into it. What’s the worst that can happen? Lol

I'm in a similar boat. Only ridden flats, and been out of the game for like 2 years due to the birth of our first child. I'm itching to get back on the trails again. Cost is also a factor. The initial investment into clips is another hurdle.

Yea I hear ya, think I spent around $150 or so for shoes and pedals. Not terrible, but I put it off for a while that’s for sure

@birry @AugustaTaco I rode flats for a year before making the plunge into clips. Correct the initial investment is a pill to swallow but I have fallen in love with them. They are great and I love the control I have riding them. Well worth it.

Nada. Gonna go for a jog. Wanted to goto sugarland this morning but trails are wet and it’s gonna happen a lot more with fall coming so it’s time to bust out the ole running shoes I guess.

Another stacher! Nice bike. How do you like the DHFs? It seems like maxxis plus tires are almost impossible to find.

They are everywhere online! Hahaha. These tires are absolutely sticky. They are the grippiest and most confidence inspiring tire I’ve ever ridden in my entire life on bikes. For rocky Az trails with tons of gravel/kitty liter they’re sick.
