I was just on my 24" BMX thrashing the neighborhood...Honestly...I closed down the local bar/pool hall at 3AM... The neighbors also got to listen to Social Distortion while I was riding..

They make weird faces because they are Hindu and I'm listening to top 20 Christian. Blaring = a 10 ft radius for less than 10 seconds as I pass usually out in grass nowhere near them. Annoying = cell fon zombies, people who don't understand english, people who can't grasp the concept of multi-use trails & people with ear buds unable to hear anything. So if anything it's a tradeoff and too bad...........everybody gets to deal with something or another.

I'm all for multi-use trails, and I'm not usually bothered if I hear your music for a few seconds as we pass each other going opposite directions. But when people blare music at rest points, or view points, when there's other people around, are annoying. I don't want to hear your music, regardless of what genre it is (even if its a genre I like, its annoying) If you want to listen to music, use headphones, and keep it quiet enough that you can hear what's going on around you. People with blaring speakers, and people who can't hear you because of their headphones are equally annoying. and I'm not even going to touch the "people make weird faces because they're Hindu, and people who don't speak english are annoying" bits.

I also would like to add that any argument for playing loud music in public, and especially on the trail, comes down to "I don't care if it bothers other people, I want to listen to my music, so they should deal with it."

Agreed. Also kinda funny. Blaring Christian music but then getting mad at people that don’t speak English. Doesn’t sound very Christian

Have you considered making yours a mid fat? Crappy pic, I get it. I can get a better one if needed. I’m running 2.8’s on 27.5 wheels. I had 2.6’s on there that I rode for 1 ride (maybe 10 miles or so) so they are still brand new if your interested. Only reason why I changed them is I wanted to go a tad fatter.
