Only been on a few rides with it, but so far I’m a big fan. Originally got it planning to use it on steeper chunkier areas (mainly Pisgah) and run the factory dps on my local stuff. But so far I’m loving having coils front/rear on the TB4.

Nice! You see Cascade Components just released their lower link for the TB on preorder? Bumps up travel to 128mm, adds 5mm to the chainstays and is more progressive. Should jive pretty well with the coil.

Ahh right on. It kept seeming like I was missing something or you were confusing me with someone. I understand. I love this bike & would encourage others to look into them.

I did see that thanks. Gonna tinker with my current setups before changing too much else.

Haha, more progressive is kinda funny. I’m mean, can a samurai sword get sharperer

For people just getting into mtb or experienced riders, anyone on a budget, it's a fantastic bike.

Transition makes killer bikes. Not sure I’d throw any of their offerings into the ‘budget’ category though. That’s not me knocking them at all, that’s just my opinion (which is worthless).

They don’t do alloy sentinels anymore, I got one of the last ones. I feel like their bikes are still pretty pricey but I guess compared to big box brands def a better value

Fun fact: ordered it the same weekend Katrina hit NOLA.

We are a Santa Cruz family: Wife just got a new 2020 raspberry 5010. Then my trusty steed of a white 2010 Nomad that got some needed upgrades this year to spruce it up a bit. Then i came across a smoking deal mid summer on the 2019 V10 for our chairlift weekends (came all "murdered out" as the kids say these days so i added some basic color). Last pic was just this last weekend - we trusted the internet and took a trail that was more of a hike a bike up to the top of a mountain and then ride them down. It was a lot of vertical up to the alpine as you can see...
