We are a Santa Cruz family: Wife just got a new 2020 raspberry 5010. Then my trusty steed of a white 2010 Nomad that got some needed upgrades this year to spruce it up a bit. Then i came across a smoking deal mid summer on the 2019 V10 for our chairlift weekends (came all "murdered out" as the kids say these days so i added some basic color). Last pic was just this last weekend - we trusted the internet and took a trail that was more of a hike a bike up to the top of a mountain and then ride them down. It was a lot of vertical up to the alpine as you can see...

Not something I want to show off. I was cleaning my ‘15 Jekyll up before doing a brake bleed and...762B633D-C8F3-4DE7-98EC-833AD0DB3E7C.jpg
So my beloved, stoke inducing rig is at the ICU, waiting to hear from Cannondale if I’m pulling the plug and stripping it down or if they’ll be helping me with a solution.
In the meantime, so glad I picked up a ‘16 Farley for this winter, it’s been fun so far...even did a CX race on it Saturday. Skinny tires be damned!72CBC4A2-598A-45D0-B234-271CBAEB0AB5.jpg

The industry has been crazy! I'm waiting for a dropper. Almost a month now. But it's almost the perfect storm. You've got bike mfg coming on new model releases, a pandemic that closes mfg plants reducing supply, and component companies that are also in that "new model" period. Then "Surprise!" people wanna buy.

I feel lucky my DV9 was in stock and only took about a month to get. The shop was backed up as well. Right now, I think it's about 3 weeks to a month out and they've even hired a couple service folks to help them reduce their backlog.

Your Chameleon is a bitchin looking bike! How do you like it?

Thanks! I love it. It’s a really fun bike.

yeah when I started looking back in May, I went to about 10 shops, walked in only to find absolutely nothing but extemely high end bikes (8-10K). Finally I ordered this one. Santa Cruz kept saying “your bike will ship soon”. Then I’d get an email saying it was going to be delayed. This was over and over.
Pretty frustrating. But it’s all good now.

    thanks again and happy riding....

I just have to go over the hill to see them (or Ibis for that matter). They both have showrooms of sorts in Santa Cruz.

Well Cannondale came through, warranty replacement with a new old stock frame exactly like my ‘15 Jekyll. Bike mechanic friend help me swap everything over, kind of a New Bike Day, but not really. I did miss the precise handling of this bike...and the suspension...over the last 6 weeks. Impressed by Cannondale’s responsiveness.18EDDAFA-D31C-458F-BC60-2FC53B96E430.jpg
