Maybe it won't be as bad as photo of the year.

So get a Reverb or wait for the Fox dropper post? Hmmm...might just have to get a reverb for now. Aside from that I'm ditching the e.13 DRS and going 1x10 and using a SRS no bash. Gonna try to lighten things up and switch out some heavy components. Wanna get from 31.8 down to 29 at least.

Here are some pictures of my 2011 Yeti 575. Sadly, I can't even ride her right now do to a 3rd Degree AC separation I got two weeks ago from riding. I'm hoping I'll be able to do some small rides next week.

    Good luck on your recovery.
I ripped my AC apart (III as well) 5 years ago and it still bothers me.
    Don't skimp on PT.
    Good luck again.

i say wait for the Fox. its going to be mechanical like the new CB dropper. i dont have any person experience with droppers but from what ive read mechanical droppers seem like they have potential to work better. keyword potential haha.

thinking about it its kind of a tough call.
sick bike! hope you heal up soon man

I have been asking this question for a while. And every time, the answer that percolates to the top (of those who use them) is Reverb. Some people have and like the CB Joplin R but from what I can tell, the CB is a love/hate thing. The advantage of a hydro post is infinite adjustment. The mechanical ones usually give you a few positions of adjustment.

I may get one but I'm still not sure which one yet (probably one of the two I mentioned). If I go to Sea Otter, I'll have a chance to look at them there.

yeah i think i read on PB that both the new CB kronolog and the new Fox are going to be infinite adjustment and they are both mechanical. ive seen you on PB recently so idk if you read this but from the review the kronolog seems pretty solid

    http://www.pinkbike.com/news/Crankbrother-Kronolog-Adjustable-Seat-Post.html

but yeah i agree about CB its definitely a love/hate thing. the only CB part i own are their grips so dont really have much experience with them but they seem pretty good. it think im going to try the eggbeaters as my next pedals.

Thanks fellas. I have a really good physical therapist so I'm hoping it won't be a long term thing. I've heard mixed reviews from people who have had it. The hardest part about this is I can't work so I'm bored out of my mind! And the stationary bike isn't the same ha ha.

I will have to see the new mechanicals. I have used older and newer Mallets and been very happy. I guess I see the CB thing as a kind of brand loyalty thing too.

What I really like about the eggbeaters is the float. You can move the bike around without feeling like you'll pop out of the clips.

yeah im gonna see how the fox is too. i looked it up and it isnt infinite but there are two levers one for 60mm and one for 100/125mm.

yeah i think a lot of it is brand loyalty too. i havent decided which pedals yet i kind of do want a bigger platform for support but idk. right now i have time's and i feel like they are a mix of the eggbeaters and spd's too but the time's are so heavy haha

I have a reverb and love it though I haven't tried anything else. I have only put 350 miles on it but still no problems.

That is a disgustingly sexy bike. I have always liked the Yeti's.

Sorry to hear about the shoulder. I am recovering from knee surgery so looking forward to riding as well. I can ride sitting down but standing on the bike is still hard. Hope you have a quick recovery and once again great looking bike.

Take your time with the shoulder...I had the same separation in September, and 2 shoulder surgeries all to the same one prior to that.

    Finally finished this build.
Had some issues with the Azonics not lining up true in the forks and frame, but with some homemade washers all is good now.

    First trip out:
