I have a double cabrac so it was just straight bolt on. If you are referring to a topper rack then, I BELIEVE the feet are adjustable, but don't quote me on this.

The install instructions are on the prinsu website, peruse through and it will probably answer that question for you.

I had a Prinsu rack on order through CBI but cancled the order two months later. I think that Prinsu makes a good product from having installed a few of these.

While I think it would be a good addition to the truck I'm not sure if it would be ideal for this resto-mod project I have taken on paired with the 2nd gen Tacoma

A little steeper and chunkier than the camera makes it look.

Objective of the next few weeks for me, is to 'tray' my Access Cab rack .. as i do 95% of my driving, at speeds of 50-80mph, i have gotten somewhat OCD with my setup. I am on a continuous quest for sound reduction. I went to considerable time and expense in lining the roof with 9mm sound insulation last fall, developed my own auxiliary wings for the front air dam of the Prinsu (Scrap stainless kicking around in back of garage, FTW..) and now am looking at isolating / enclosing the bars from the underside, or topside with a 3/16" sheet of Thermoform plastic. Kinda expensive at $65.00 CDN for a 4'x4' sheet.. but all in, for a good cause.

I've been eyeballing a mate's Nissan Pathfinder, early 2000's vintage, with it's more integral roof rack - i'm going to try to 'wrap' the leading edge of the tray off with the front air-dam to smooth out turbulent airflow. I'm also dropping the lightbar as close to the cutout as possible, and going to try to barrier-isolate that with the tray, in addition.

    Anyone done similar?

Need some wisdom from those that have gone before me....Has anyone on here mounted a Rough Country LED on the Cabrac? My wind deflector is pictured above on #109 with 32 inch cut out....I've used the Rough Country, small brackets on each end with the 1/4 inch bolts, but I'd like to secure it using the larger 3/8th inch bolts that have the built-in multi-positional locks. I've mounted it with those two 3/8th inch bolt threads pointing towards the back so I can tie into them from the crossbar immediately behind the light. I have not seen anything that mounts to the Prinsu crossbars larger then 1/4 inch. Thanks in advance guys.

It's been made very clear that CBI does not do group buys

Now, where's the fun in that? o_O

I got a good start to it today. I got the 4x4' sheet reduced to final outside dimensions, and slotted the front for the front wrap-around on the front wing. This is thermoform plastic sheet, so i need to make a couple wood contour forms, to follow the curve of the side pieces down into the windshield. A little heat, and presto, it should be good. I will reduce the center slotted section over the lightbar, so that it sits close to flush with a rubber gasket against the lightbar itself. I had dropped the lightbar itself in height, earlier this week, by an approximate 3/8" with different mount spacers.

This is meant as a cover, easily removable. I do need to order some more T-Slot nuts to secure it in place, and i need reposition already placed tie down points on the cross-bars themselves, to final mount. Another weekend should do it.

Another benefit of this, that i just thought of, in trial fitting - this should be ideal to keep snow build up under the roof racks to a minimum.. it packed in pretty densely this past winter, and as temps got mild, turned into a slab of ice.

It should make the rack appearance be more tidy and "aero", as well as improve upon the audible turbulence issue. It sits recessed by 1/8" inside of the rack sides resting on the cross-bars, so almost flush. Just enough to not be externally visible, standing side on to the truck.

T-slot covers might well have been the cheaper, more economical solution.. but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

As is apparent, i also need to do some cleaning, and repainting of the rack surface itself... it's taken a kicking in our salt-slurry winter environment.

Anyone have an RTT mounted above the cab on a bedrack put one of these racks up to act as an air dam? Looking to reduce some of the drag I have and was wondering if this rack might be helpful.
