Pros/Cons of steel wheels? I'll be upgrading from my stock wheels soon and really like the rugged look of some of these steelies. They also seem cheaper for the most part.

There are probably 1000 threads on it, but comes down to, Steelies are heavier, but (to some) look cooler. If you bend them on a trail you can more easily be able to hammer it back and use it if need be....but really who the heck has ever done that? With a proper spare youd have to have shit luck twice. Steelies are also easier to repaint or just add paint IMO.

Might as well note while I am here, I have 5 17" FJ steelies in Columbus Ohio if anyone is local (still on not great tires). Asking 300OBO. No caps, but do have lugs.

EDIT: THESE ARE SOLD AS OF 11/4/18, thanks!!

I dig it as well! I run the 1.25 spacers from spidertrax. I was a little bummed, but had to.

You probably get tired of answering this, but could you give me the details on the wheels? Are those 16" tundra wheels painted gray? What paint did you use? What size tire?

    Thanks

Youd have to notch them or something...see in this pic how the FJ steelie has those recesses around the center...that is where the caps can clip onto.
