Nice!. I think blacking out the center caps would help as well.

Here's mine, this is a pic before I got my shell.
Running 1" bora wheel spacers in front to fit the 255/85r16 Toyo MT's.
    Love my Toyo's.

Mine, but could be your next DIY project.
Just some extras I got a hold of, I'm still running this style rim.
16x7 steel wheels along with all you need to paint them.
(The beach towel is not included )
Prefer local pickup, I'm not interested in shipping them.
I'm in Sacramento area - Curtis Park.
    Send PM if interested.

Picked up these for a steal. Also, found out the OEM Tacoma steelie center cap fits, not sure how I feel about it yet.

I have been debating this. Local dealer is $100 per wheel. Salvage yards are $60-$80. Is the savings worth it given they're up to 12 years old and sitting in a yard?

If I was doing it again, I'd pay a little extra for non-salvage wheels. I ended up buying 7 wheels to get 4+spare. 2 of the wheels I bought were off enough that they couldn't be balanced, and I didn't figure that out until AFTER I had 1 of them powder coated. At the end of the day, it would have been cheaper for me to buy from a dealer.

I got all of mine from various salvage yards, and did run into one that was the wrong generation and damaged. Getting them spun shouldn't be a problem, but there's definitely a good chance of getting a damaged wheel.

I just enjoyed the hunt, because I'm weird.
