    Pic from dash cam in my Tacoma...these people were totally unprepared with no chains or recovery gear and clothing that wasn't appropriate for the weather conditions. They were stuck on a dirt road that tow trucks won't venture up when it isn't covered in snow.

    Yeah. Just ahead of them was a ridgeline on highway tires with no chains. He was stuck and recovered 3 different times before I got there.

    Going to Yosemite in a couple weeks and they require you to carry chains.
