Hey, I am getting my windows tinted on thursday and am unsure of how dark I want to go. I was hoping to see some pics of the different combos! I currently have the stock tint in the back and none up front. Please make sure to mention what % you have if you include a picture!!

5% everywhere except the windshield. RIP the truck ever being that clean again though.

The tint shop said the rear AC windows were 20% stock so I had the fronts done 20% to match. I have been very happy with them.

I recently did mine and here are some before and after pics. Once I tinted the rears it made the inside darker and now the front looks darker too. I can see out of it just fine at night but the rear sliding glass with 35% isn't dark enough for my liking.

Before: 25% or 30% on front doors and none on the rear

After: 20% on front and 35% on all rear

Go full send. 30% on the windshield, 5% on the fronts, 5% over factory on the rear.

Looks great. This kind of tint would get me pulled over by the first cop I pass in MA. Does that windshield take some getting used to for night driving?

I have very sensitive eyes, and it actually helps me at night by reducing glare and intensity of oncoming traffic lights.

Pinnacle F1 30% front doors, 5% on all the back windows, and llumar air 80 on the windshield. Passes inspection just fine, any darker and I dont think it would though.

Looks like CA has similar tint laws to MA. Not sure how enforced they are in CA, but recently they began testing during annual inspections in MA :(
    https://www.tinting-laws.com/california/
I play it safe and have 35% up front and something like 15% on my rear windows. Little AC door windows at factory 20%.

30% on the windshield is the first I’ve heard of that. Definitely too much attention from po-op for me.

Its also good for reducing the glare of the red and blue lights that will be behind you.

Yes. @Tacoaric please post 5% windshield if you have pics. I had 5% on fronts before and I would have to roll down my window at night sometimes to be able to see stuff. Windshield would have to come with a day time driving only requirement.

I had 20 on my F250. That was batshit. Lol. My buddy’s GMC with 5% was downright scary lol

It is quite beautiful though. I'm assuming for a tint shop to do the work you have to sign a "forget you were ever here" waiver?

15% all around over factory privacy glass (not including windshield). Had 5% previously but was too dark for my liking and hard to see at night (and the install was shit). Heard some horror stories about tinted windshields here in CA... pretty sure your charges can get serious and liability increases should you hit someone. Just what I heard though, not sure if true.
