If I can swing the time and you have a 20 amp outlet, I may be able to bring my MIG welder over to hook it up.

I dont know how I am going to mount it under the wheel wells but i should be able to drill through the plastic part and bolt it underneath. but I dont want it to tear up the bed if it gets pushed in one direction or the other. I would also need to fabricated another mount or bracket for the rear support bars. Its raining now and will be snowing tomorrow and friday so maybe this weekend I can get a pic of it inside the bed.

Put some large fender washers or a metal plate on the backside, it likely won't pull through.

Ok I will take the pics tomorrow, I was too busy installing my wet okoles and running out of money literally. I almost over drafted. And I have $900 balance on my credit card, got some financial stuff to take care of first. It may be a couple of pay checks before I can get it done.

    shop-built headache rack / tool box / trimmed mud-flaps / bull-bar / 2.5-inch front lift / 1.5-inch rear lift / n-fab nerf-bars /
I recently built a pipe headache rack for my '10 access cab / I'm mostly happy with it, but simply regarding looks, mine is a little too high also, the bottom of the upper pipe is slightly above the brake light. Hopefully a good blend of useability and looks though. I went back & forth on welding clips for lights, but in the end did not weld them on.

I see some of the guys have recommended to lower yours to even with top of cab. If you do this and plan on using the rack (rollbar) for any hauling of lumber, canoes, etc.....you will increase the risk of scratching or denting top of cab or hitting the brake light.

Also you may not want to impact visibility of the upper brake light. We've got some pretty harsh local cops in the small towns who can be dicks about such things.

I'll try tp post pic of mine another time

I learned today that my sister-in-law's brother has a garage and a welder and may be able to do it for me. I dunno how much he would charge.
