I think the pucker moment was a few moments before this photo was taken. This looks like you're in trouble already.

Here was mine today. Funny thing is I cleared this pretty easily after scraping the step rails.

Gonna keep playing like that, you should consider a set of sliders and ditch those step rails.

I did 6 hours of the Golden Spike trail with a ratchet strap holding my UCA together. You can't take it easy on that trail either. Pucker factor 10

Fourth biggest pucker I've had off roading. No pic of the others because I was busy not sliding off of cliffs. This was a tricky turn but the biggest problem was the line I chose.

That pic doesn't look too bad but here's a pic of another truck from a better angle. It felt like I was closer to the boulder than he was and I had pretty much decided I wasn't getting out of that situation without body damage but I did.

I know my sliders have more than paid for themselves on trees alone.

    It held.
On the way out is just a dirt road on the side of a cliff. my buddy comes over the radio to ask if i'm alright because i was falling behind. I reply Yeah I just don't want to fold a tire up and go over the cliff. My wife looks at me stunned and asked If that was an option. I was like yeah if that ratchet strap breaks.
part of my seat disappered with the pucker :rofl::rofl:

I had to stop filming at that point. My buddy Jason got really stuck behind a rock. It was close to 2 in the morning. The trail (off chute) we were on just didn't seem to end. It was the sections separated by some flat areas (making you think you were done). Spent 4 hours getting him unstuck. We were all 2wds with one unarmored 4x4 and little recovery gear. Traction boards (which he didn't tell me he had until 6 am), snatch strap, bottle Jack. I was to far away with the snatch strap. Tried digging him out as he was high sided on his diff and the driver wheel was turned completely to driver and pinned against a boulder. I ended up having to call one of my friends who was willing to come help. I didn't think to go down and back around on the fire road and to go through the chutes again and come up from behind him.

Yah that climb would definitely make me skid mark a bit. I went up a steep hill here in Idaho that wasn't as steep as that and as soon as I was committed I cussed myself out for taking my truck on it... until I got back down

So serious question for you guys, what happens if you break something that can’t be fixed or get into something that your not getting out of up in the mountains? I mean you can’t just call up a wrecker. I could see doing these things in an old truck but I paid way to much for a nice new truck to risk killing it when I don’t have all the money in the world to fix it back. Not downing you guys at all that can do these crazy trails, looks fun as heck but to much risk for me personally.

    1) Don't buy a vehicle that over extends your budget.

    2) Don't risk breaking things you can't afford to fix, regardless of vehicle age/value

Like you said, it's all about your wallet's risk tolerance.
