just thought I'd show what I tow... I do use a Hensley arrow hitch ( spendy, but you really should watch the video on their site, it is a no joke impressive setup). Also using small bags in the rear when fully loaded... yes that is a full size 4x4 quad in the back of a double cab short bed pulling a 28' trailer. My weight is right near 6500, but it pulls great, I just take it a little easy.

Thanks all... I have to say though, can't take credit for the trailer, it is my dad's, and I got the 4 Wheeler for $900, I had to repair/restore it after it fell off a50' cliff!:D

    A few more!

Shitter/shower! Huge option, 5 gal. cassette toilet, 11gal. grey water tank for the shower. I averaged a 4 gal. shower using the "wet down, soap/shampoo, rinse", method. I did let the shower trickle during soap up.

Water system. Cycles at pressure, a little "pulse" in the pressure! With 31gal. Of fresh water, plus 6gal. Of hot water, it makes for a pretty convenient "camping"!:D

    Another good option!

    3-way 'fridge.

    Gas hot water.

    Ready to collapse.

Ready to park for the winter. I will pull the battery and hook it up to a tender for the winter.

you have a motor to lift the tent? sick!! we have a fleetwood ED3..the big one with a slider.

your's looks better built. when you lift the sink/stove onto the platform..sometimes the water line kinks..and the button to turn on trailer power is smashed..not well thought out. i've fixed a few things and improved on it..but it is a work in progress. my tacoma feels like a slug towing it. ours is heavy. what does your's weight empty?

I tow a Little Guy Teardrop Trailer. It is a hybrid Rough Rider/Silver Shadow. I am really liking it and can't wait for more camping next year but if I get some time off -- it's off to woods for me!!!

Yup, no cranking by hand!:D It has a load-sensor to stop the motor at the proper height. No guessing, no worries, push the button 'till it stops!:p

Dry weight is 2520, gvwr is 4550 with a dry hitch of 300. It tows easy with an Equalizer hitch. I definitely feel it on the hills, but I can ride some revs with the manual!:D I really need to regear for my tires!

Thanks Tim. Now that I have my new Alcan spring pack installed I am anxious to hook up the trailer for a proper road trip.

It's not as cool as most of these but I like it. Will be adding new leafs and Rotopax containers next. It's a work in progress. Would eventually like to turn it into an expedition style trailer. Bought it for $300 and spent about $75 sanding it down and repainting it.

From a few days ago. went up to the mountains. both rhino and atv are about to get new tires.(that will make both a little heavier then they are now, rhino will be going from a 3ply in the rear and 2 ply in the front to a 6 ply tires all the way around. atv maybe getting same tires but not sure. total weight in pic is about 3k and truck does great at 70 and 75mph also no trailer brakes, and tow in 4th.

Kodiak.166E.fore.jpg Picked up this today. 3100 lbs dry. 16 ft hybrid.

The truck struggled to pull it, IMO. Too much wind resistance on top and on both sides. It's about 10" wider on each side than the truck is. Supercharger coming up next, should be OK then.
