    No worries, Flattie!

    We've had 4 adults plus two 80 lb dogs in there, but I would not recommend that for more than a night or two... :)

    Two bunks in the back plus a queen bed. Add the R-dome (attachable tent/awning) and that can conceivably sleep 2 more, depending on temps outside.

    The newer models look cool, with black trim and all, but as far as I can tell, same trailer, new wrapper. Forest River's website has waaaay more info. We love ours.

    Word of warning - be careful with a WDH before going "offroad". Know what you're doing. I didn't, and bent one of the L-bars on the trailer side of the hitch.


    I also almost lost the trailer after disconnecting the Equalizer hitchs' bars from the truck side to the trailer side. That was in what I consider "mild" offroading.


    Moral of the story - have a traditional straight hitch on hand if you're hauling a trailer into offroad situations. Unhook the trailer from the WDH once you get off the highway, then pop the straight hitch onto the truck, then carry on offroad.


    The truck/trailer combo in the picture actually is pretty impressive from mild to medium offroad IF you have the right hitch setup and upgraded rear springs. Once I (fortunately) learned my lessons without major mishap (barely), I figure the truck/trailer combo will turn out pretty well for up to medium offroading.

    2008 Taco Long bed 4x4 Auto with Deaver HD springs and WD hitch with sway bar. Gets a little grumpy going uphill in the mountains of Montana, but doesn't sway or have any problems what so ever. Front end did lots of bouncing before I replaced the springs, but now handles it great.

    Emergency braking isn't good, so I have to drive smart. Brakes will be my next upgrade, possibly followed by a supercharger.

    Definitely pushing the limits of what a taco can tow but it really is comfortable. No rectal puckering at all really.
