lol. i think the taco’s bed is a little to narrow.. maybe if he had a tundra it would work..

There is a photo with one in the bed of a ram 3500 and it even has the tail gate up.
    looks good!

Can't remember if I posted this here or not. 5x8 enclosed trailer with cvt mt. McKinney on top. I have the 6speed and enjoy driving it, and I'm looking to buy a new tacoma. Do any of you who have the auto, have or have had any problems out of them? That is as far as towing with the automatic. Any info would be appreciated, since I've only ever owned sticks. Thank you

sorry the picture is upsidedown. BTW I know this is not the correct thread, but I just want a strait answer with out all the bs. From the ones that tow alot. thanks

What condition was yours in? The one I picked up from Ft. Bliss was immaculate. New tires and no signs of use. Welcome to the M1101 club! uploadfromtaptalk1407214537455.jpguploadfromtaptalk1407214558089.jpguploadfromtaptalk1407214577357.jpg

Just keep watching the auctions on govliquidation.com it all depends on location condition and luck. I just put in a straight 750 bid and won it at 670

After acquiring the vehicle you apply for and receive an SF97 which is a release title from the government. while you're waiting for that to arrive,(30 days) have the state give you a provisional registration

The state that you would buy it in or where you live? From the looks of what's out there now, most m1101 are in GA or LA.

The state you live in. When you go get it, the state where you purchased it might be able to get you a temporary registration to be able to get it home

Hauled 4,687lbs by the scale up to Alaska from Seattle. Total weight on Canadian scales, truck and trailer combined was 4500kg.

V6/manual transmission/OME881/Dakars/Nitrocharger Sports/Firestone Ride-Rite airbags(!!!). No problems at all. Even on the nasty stretches of road. u6ybuza7_29109f3dbb989cd09410c2f9ad8fe0dd31c8ff97.jpg

This is the 9th time in 5 years traveling the road. Third time hauling a trailer. Mileage dropped from the usual 22-23mpg to 12.5mpg.
