    Just picked up this camper...
3500# dry and tows fairly well. Just need some towing mirrors and air bags now.

Just finished a trip from LA to Laguna Seca with four bikes and a trailer behind my 2015 DCLB. Worked like a champ and got 15.2 mpg on the highway fully loaded.

Each pair of bikes comes in at just under 1,000 lbs. So that's, 1,000 lb in the bed, plus two sets of extra wheels, ramp, 12 gal. gas, riding gear (and other necessities in cab), and 450 lb. for driver and passenger. The trailer is 420 lb. plus 1,000 lb. in bikes. The other riders came in different vehicles.

Obviously you made it here fine, but if you ballpark 15% tongue-weight you would be at like 1250lbs payload capacity with the way everything is loaded. Definitely getting close to pushing the limits of these trucks.

Do you have a picture from the side? I'm really curious to see how the taco springs handled that load.

    Build thread in sig...
Been towing the 22' a lot recently. new house is only a couple of miles from the ramp. short enough drive to get out on the water for a couple hours after work on the week days. Loving the air bags I put on the truck almost a year ago. first summer I've had them, and it's nice having a good level truck while towing, without the funky ride of a leveling hitch.

Here's a photo that is sort of from the side wit only one bike in the bed. I know that I need to lessen my 2" drop on the hitch (I'm thinking a zero drop might do it), but I picked up the borrowed trailer and had to load it and go the next morning.

OK, I found one from the track with four bikes.

Ouch. Is it just me or does that frame almost look bent? The bed does not look straight?

I thought same thing. Go look at your taco. The bed line and bottom edge of the windows are a few degrees off. These lines are even more exaggerated when your ass is saggin. Keep in mind i pulled it 100 feet out of the shop then backed it back in.
