With sumo springs and 1" block and WDH. The sag is 1/2" without the WDH. With the WDH it is about 1/4". About #200 in bed.Hitch weight with propane tanks are about #400 trailer is about #3000. Just got back from our 6th outing with this set up, I added new goodyear endurance tires D (87MPH) rated tires. I would never go that fast but nice to know if I drift up to low 70s when passing it is O.K. Tacoma tows this thing just fine. I will probably be getting a Winebago Micro Minnie next year. #3600 dry and about #400 hitch dry. So guessing it will be about #1000 more. Should be no problem except some slower acceleration.

You won't have any problems with the Micro Minni. My 22' TT comes in at around 3800lbs and only use a WD hitch. Pulls without issue.

Hauled this bad boy this weekend 200 miles. About 3800 pounds dry. Did really well, averaged 65 mph. Only got about 9 miles to the gallon though

Thanks! I wish it was mine. Rented it for the weekend from Fairchild AFB. Might have to buy me one though soon

This guy is on his 3rd Escape trailer that he pulls with a second gen. He has a 21' now. He travels coast to coast often.

EDIT: Haha. After just reading the last page of his blog I saw he has an F150 Ecoboost on order to take over towing duties, but he did say the Tacoma was very capable and he pulled the 21 with it for thousands of miles.

The Escape 21 only has a dry weight of 3200lbs and a gross of 5000lbs. The Tacoma wouldn't have a problem pulling it.

How does it tow. It’s 5300 empty. Any issues? I live in Spokane and would be towing over Lookout Pass into Montana.

If your thinking of towing a trailer in the mountain with a 5300lbs dry weight it would be a mistake. Once its loaded you would be probably be over the 6400lbs rating for the Tacoma.

Where'd you go? We've got a 200 cruise in tan, had to pull out that flipflop seat and replace it with the helm seat, then installed a new helm seat with a bolster. My Tacoma has the tow package and hauls it well, I added the Dodge style swing-out mirrors so I could see around it though.

Went fro Spokane, down to Potholes South of Moses Lake. I had the towing package as well, but unfortunately did not have any mirror extensions. I could still see well enough to haul it down the highway, but swing-outs would have made me a lot more comfortable.

We spend most of our weekends at Long Lake. Haven't been out to Potholes.
