    No mods whatsoever!
Nice floor plan with the slide. I'm close to max tongue weight, so I put my poly job box w/firewood and cooler in the rear of the trailer to help with tongue weight. Roll it right in the door before you travel. Keeps the wood and charcoal dry too. Perfect with the rear door set up.
You can also have a receiver hitch welded to the camper frame and use a cargo carrier to help with tongue weight if you need to. Put the bikes in the truck bed since they're light weight.

I will probably load some stuff in rear of trailer too. Can't do a rear hitch on the 1475 and 1575 Lances. So Bikes are going on roof rack on the truck. I usually put the cooler in back seat for easy access but may just put that in rear of trailer. Extra propane tank will be in truck bed with the 2k generator although I may just leave the genny home on this one and the small weber grill stays in truck too. So i can transfer some weight to the trailer.

Check your door sticker for the max truck cargo weight, it might be less than you think. I thought mine would be 1125 but the sticker read 1000. I actually only had 900 because of some mods and add ons. If you have any doubts, get it weighed empty. Then you’ll know for sure.

mid production gen 2 4x4 ACs are 1200 lbs payload and DCs are 1000. my 2008 says the GVWR is 5350 lbs. really what wiljayhi says, weigh the truck as-is empty, and subtract that from the GVWR to find out how much you can safely carry. things like a fiberglass camper shell often weigh 200 lbs or so... nerf bars or slider rails, fancy rock bumpers, winches, all that comes off your payload.

My crystal ball says there is a bigger truck in my future. But not for a few years. So my door sticker says 950. No real mods to speak of weight wise except the bak revolver with the bed mat its a bit over 100lbs so with the Mrs and I plus the tongue I can fit a whopping 100lbs of gear. I still may be a 100 over. My brain is tired from try to cut things out of the trip.

I pulled a 31ft Jayco travel trailer across the yard through mud in 4lo today. Trailer gross weight is 9000lbs. It squated the truck but it did it just fine!

Hey that’s a cool camper. Do you have any pictures of it set up? By the way. Your truck looks very nice!

Here is one of my trailers. I really only use them for stuff at the tree farm, or picking up a couple tons of wood pellets.

I'm going to guess 30-40,000. Furthest we have towed is Michigan. Most of our camping is done within 150 miles of home
