I tried an adjustable height draw bar and did not like it. It rattled around too much and just felt loose to me.

Not sure what brand. If you go on etrailer.com and search adjustable hitch you'll find them.

Yeah probably most of the its around 400-600. I have a lot of irrigation parts/tools which don't weight a lot. I usually don't take everything either.

Probably a common sight for RX-7 owners HaHa.

By the way I've been wanting to buy a trailer recently but just wanted to see where most people store them as I have seen a few people who own some but don't see them on there property unless they have multiple acres of land. I feel paying for storage defeats the purpose of owning one too.

By the time you factor in a monthly storage fee it’s cheaper to rent one

Just curious how this rig is treating you. Wife and I looked at that exact same trailer today. I’m thinking it might be a bit heavy for my 2015 taco, but would love to here from someone who’s towed it. My biggest concern is western elevations and the climbs she will see. We plan on doing quite a bit of travel in the rockies. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I tow a similar sized trailer (Jayco X213). I live at 4,500ft and drag it over 6k to 8k ft passes. The truck does fine if you're not afraid to make it work (2nd gear wound out at 55mph on the steepens grades). Definitely need to pay attention to transmission temps. I have about 6k miles with the trailer in tow.

Nice trailer @hambray. I've been dragging our 2015 x213 around with my tacoma for several years. Been very happy with it. It's a great floor plan for our family.

i like the idea of a rear slide for some reason. Added this to our list for when we are shopping for one in the future.

It was about 750 miles round trip and we guessed around 4000lbs total load. If any of you have been on I49 through the Boston mountains in Arkansas you know it’s a beautiful stretch of Highway but it takes some downshifting. I was able to use 6th gear without the car pretty much all the way up there but kept it in 5th with downshifts to 4th occasionally to hold speed going uphill loaded on the way home.
