What's the weight capacity on that trailer? That looks cool!

I’m also curious about this trailer. Is it a dump as well? Did you build it or buy it?

If it is a dump, ones of that size usually have a capacity of around 2000lbs of cargo; a 3500lb axle and 900-1000lbs of trailer weight.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. Yes, I built the trailer. I’ve built numerous trailers but only one dump trailer. Then finally built one for me.

It’s a 6000lb Dexter axle under there with brakes. I usually pull it with my 2nd gen but I put in a brake controller on the 1st gen to try it out.

Not sure if this link will work but it’s a video of the trailer build on my instagram. There are other photos there too if you want to check it out. It’s not a private account so anyone can see it.

Super nice work man! I’ve always wanted to build one myself. Maybe I’ll take the leap someday. This is the perfect size.

Thanks for the kind words, and I think it’s just right for the Tacoma, size wise, that is. Physically it’s a 5x8 and about 18” deep (sides). 6000lb axle and I had it weighed at the pier and it came in at 1500lbs empty. So I could put 4500 in it which is at our max. I haven’t loaded it to that point yet. I use it for everything.

I'm running a custom modified stock intake grate, solas impeller, mascsboost module, bushman intercooler, and a macsboost velocity stack intake. its a fast SOB.

I had custom intake, went back to stock. I'm macboost stage 2 equipment. Found with custom grate I porpised like crazy. Went back to stock, 100% better, no loss of performance. Would love to have an f15x, but they are hard to find.

Aftermarket. Can't remember name. Lots of people love them. I found its the solas prop that eliminated the cavitation issue, not the grate. But man, these machines. I bought one with 30 hours, mine with 70. Have about 350 on each, not a single issue, sip gas compared to anything out there. My buddy has an F15. Beautiful cruiser.

i bought mine at the begining of last season. it was sitting at a dealer all winter because it had a bad ecu and they replaced it and noticed the water in the oil. they thought it was blown. sold it to me for $500. they took the new ECU out. i cleaned it up replaced the exhaust manifold and ecu. did some cosmetic repairs and it runs like a million bucks. has just over 90 hours.
