    Broken track car fun today.
2002 acura rsx on a uhaul trailer. Almost 5000lbs on the dot. (Car is 2700. Trailer is 2300 i think)
Towed fine suprisingly. Engine temp was 188-195 according to my ultraguage. Trans was 176-188 unloaded. 165-172 loaded in 4. :der: think the sun being down helped

2020 StarCraft 212FB ~5,000 lbs dry. Not carrying any water in the tanks and a decent amount of firewood in the bed too. Sagging in the rear quite a bit but this was a one time trip with this camper/truck combo

My wife and I just picked this Coleman Rubicon up last weekend, our first ever RV/trailer. Dry weight ~3800 #'s. Truck is stock so far, I have a set of Bilstein 5100's, OME coils and Hellwig rear "helper" leafs to be added soon.

Get some Roadmaster Active suspension. I have a similar trailer from Grand Design and the Roadmaster is awesome.

Not a normal tow for me, transporting a nice new trailer full of MTB Race league gear (tents, banners, posts and guide fencing, etc) about 100 miles. Heavy. Loaded a little tongue heavy, had the airbags at 55 psi. Truck handled it well, slow and easy and glad for the MT. Biggest concern was brakes, downshifts and brake early more than sufficient. 33E37896-77C4-45F9-8B1A-816FFC58670F.jpg
It’s amazing how much is needed to put a race on, props to folks who set up and tear down every race!

That is hilarious. And took me longer than I’d like to admit to actually see what was in the picture.

Thanks! It is a well made trailer. It's made by Belmont in Gordonville PA. I bought it from Northpoint Trailers, just southwest of Danville. https://www.northpointtrailers.com/

Just kicked off our second camping season with our 2005 Jayco Jay Feather 19w - 3130lbs dry. Upgraded to this from a small Jayco pop up last summer.

Full towing set up includes sumo springs in the rear, weight distribution hitch, Tekonsha Primus IQ brake controller, and Veepeak bluetooth OBDII scanner to monitor ATF temp. Sumo Springs and WDH made a major difference in towing for me.

Went on on a short camping trip on our trailer's first run (for us). Everything added up and it weighed close to 4500 lbs thanks to the ATV. The only thing I can't do when taking the ATV with us is load firewood as well. I was actually really surprised how well it towed, I figured it would be a little sluggish on some hills, but the truck tackled it like a champ.

Been towing with this type setup with over the last 17 years with 2nd and 3rd gen Tacoma's with a well matched WDH and brake controller. My CCVWR comes in at about 10,500 pounds with passengers and cargo. We do about 5 or 6 trips a year along the East coast and it does just fine. You feel it a bit driving up hills but it does just fine on the flats and I really enjoy the maneuverability a smaller truck. I did have to replace the rear end at around 65,000 miles on my 2007 which may have been from the towing, but that was the only issue I had which may have been related to towing a trailer ( or maybe some aggressive off-roading). Other than that, it's all been good. Keep calm and carry on.

Which MicroLite model is yours? I have a similar setup, but a Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108TB for the TT. What rear suspension support do you have on your Tacoma? What model and size tires do you have and what air pressure you usually use when towing?

We tow the 2017 - 21FBRS, about 4000# dry and I'd say 4700 # well stocked. Stock tires and suspension with normal air pressure in tires (50psi on trailer, 30 psi on truck.)

BD0E5F41-1CBE-4F7D-B3FA-62C08D2C8F36.jpg Picked up a Coachmen Clipper 17FQ in January this year. 3042 lbs. dry weight as built. 20’5” overall length. Tacoma pulls it just fine, 55-60mph @ 2400-2600 rpm in 4th gear. Took it to southern Oregon in May, maintained 45-50 mph on 6% grade up Mt. Ashland, 3200-3500 rpm in 3rd. Transmission hit 210 at the torque converter and 205 at the pan for about 5-8 minutes then back under 200. Stock SR5, only mod is I upgraded from the 245sr70-16 to 265sr75-16 tires with a more aggressive tread design. (Now that I’m no longer commuting 90 miles/day).

This morning we were in the mountains outside of Crested Butte CO. It's rained a few days And is predicted for more the next 5 days. Tonight we're outside of Fruita CO, near the Trail Through Time.

The first 11 miles they had graded and sprayed Kepler Pass Road.....

The gravel guard works great for gravel and rocks thrown by the mud tires. Not so great against mud......
